Kangaroo Pouches (Hot Sandwiches)

Use your imagination to fill these hot sandwiches.have usedcheddar, colby, and mozerella.
Therecipe makes 15 or 16 sandwiches. Leftovers canAssembling the Kangaroo Pouches
be usedfor snacks and to take to work for lunch.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sandwich PouchesRoll dough to approximately 6 inches wide by 8 inches
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~long.
1 1/2 cups warm waterPlace a slice of meat and a slice of cheese slightly
1 package dry yeast (or 2 teaspoons bulk yeast)belowthe center of the dough. Drizzle a few drops of
1/3 cup canola oilItalian saladdressing or a scant teaspoon of spaghetti
1/2 teaspoon saltsauce over thecheese. I have also used a scant
1/2 cup dry oatmealteaspoon of sour cream orblue cheese salad dressing.
4 1/2 to 5 cups flourBring the top part of the dough over the filling and seal
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in remainingtheedges by rolling up the dough toward the filling.
